Hi precious child of God. Welcome to this powerful bedtime prayer. But before we go before God in Prayer, let’s bless our souls with these powerful scriptures. John 16 vs 33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Philippians 4:6, – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Now let us pray to the Lord,
Dear Jesus, teach me to daily lay my burdens at your feet, show me I can trust in your loving care. Grant me your beloved, the nourishing blessing of arrest and peaceful sleep.
Help me be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. You said all things in accordance with your time. Remind me to wait patiently and find peace in your plan.
Dear Lord, please help me trust you and empower me through your spirit to stop my emotions from bossing me around, I want to quit worrying about what might happen and focus on what has already happened by remembering and praising you for your faithfulness in my life.
Grant me a good night’s sleep tonight, God, so that I can awake, refreshed, and ready to begin another day, loving you. Thank you again for blessings so unserved and too numerous to count. I love being your child.
And I long for the word faithful to describe my service to you each day of every year. When I awake in the morning. May it be with a joyful smile, not a grumpy spirit. May your protection and your presence be this place with peace and safety against the enemy in the night.
Because I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against me or my family will prosper. I will sleep in divine peace because of you, Lord. When I sleep, I will not be terrified by any uneasy imagination’s.
I will not be kept awake by anxious cares and distressing dreams. Instead, I cast all of my burdens onto you. Take every single one of my worries. Through your word in Matthew 11, verse 28. You have given me a special invitation.
Father, I thank you for this promise that I will lie down and sleep peacefully because I know I am in your arms. I know that I am in your care. I declare that everything from the enemy that lurks in the darkness of the night will be defeated by the shining presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. I rebuke any bad dreams or nightmares in Jesus name.
I rebuke any night terrors in the name of Jesus. I call for angels to surround me. I ask for your presence to cover me completely. May your Holy Spirit be found in my home, may the presence of the Holy Spirit be so strong in my home and in my room.
