Almighty Father, I thank you for protecting me throughout the day. I thank you for everything that happened throughout my day, both positive and negative because you said in everything we should give thanks to you. Thank you also for everything you’ve done for me and my family including all the battles you’ve fought and won for us without us even knowing.
I also pray and commit all families around the world who are going through difficult times into your hands. Be their provider and protector and fill them with joy and comfort them even in these trying times.
Father, as I’m about to retire to bed, I commit my night to you. I pray against all the schemes of the devil at night and ask that you protect me and my family from all of them during the night. I decree that no weapon formed against me tonight shall prosper. I also declare that no weapon formed against any member of my family as they sleep tonight shall come to fruition.
Heavenly Father, watch over me and my family tonight Your word in Proverbs chapter 3 verse 24 says, when I lie down, I will not be afraid. When I lie down, my sleep will be sweet. I, therefore, stand on your word and ask for sweet sleep tonight. I also stand on the power in your word and I rebuke any spirit of fear in the name of Jesus.
Bless me with sound sleep and relaxation dear Lord. Let me sleep peacefully in your bosom tonight and every other night. I ask this not only for myself but also for my family. I pray you manifest yourself to them and cause them to meditate on your word.
Make them aware of your goodness and your mercy over their lives.
And also let them commit their night to you in Jesus’ name. Your word in Psalm 91 verse 11 states that you will give your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways. I believe this Powerful word and I stand on it to ask that you let your angels guide and protect me and my family as we sleep tonight.
No demon or evil can come near me because I believe that your angels will be there to shield me from all darkness. Thank you, God, for being my protector and friend.
As I sleep, I find refuge in your arms. Be my shield and protect me every night. I don’t fear the darkness that comes with the night because I have you by my side, dear Lord. Let me always think about your goodness and mercy as I sleep tonight.
Don’t let me worry about tomorrow because I know you when tomorrow comes, you’ll be there with me to see me through.
