We want to keep our loved ones, children, friends, and even ourselves safe throughout the day, emotionally and physically. It’s a natural instinct to protect the things we love most in our life, and lucky for us that we have a little extra help to make sure that they stay safeguarded. Our Lord is always watching out for us, even when we may not realize it or think about him during the busiest moments in our days.
His word says in Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 23:4 also says Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. God knows exactly what we need, when we need it. So whether you’re calling for protection on yourself, your home, your children, or simply the world, know that the Lord is listening, and he will answer when the time is right.

Lord God,
I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the one who fights for me every day.
Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection.
Dear Father,
You are like a wing that shelters my children, strong with protection, soft with grace. You are like a shield that encircles them each day.
They run free and you are with them as they adventure. You are like a crown placed upon their heads, a symbol of sonship, of belonging and of their adoption into your family.
Lord, I place them into your great care and declare that they are yours.
I bless You, Lord, for You are our Jehovah Rapha, the Healer of all our diseases. My body is the temple of Your Spirit, so I pray for protection from that which could bring harm to me physically. Guard me from stresses that steal my emotional strength and lower my immunity to fight infection.
Heal me of past traumas that may affect me present or future health. Teach me how to discipline my body so I can grow stronger and increase my physical stamina. When challenges arise, I need not fear, for You have given me a spirit of power, of love, and a sound mind.
Grant, O Lord, thy protection and in protection, strength. And in strength, understanding. And in understanding, knowledge. And in knowledge, the knowledge of justice. And in the knowledge of justice, the love of it. And in the love of it, the love of all existences. And in that love, the love of spirit and all creation. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen
