The book of Psalms reassures us that God is with us.
It says if I go up to the heavens, you’re there
If I make my bed in the depts, you’re there
And he is there, God is there
He’s there in your time of trouble
He’s there when you face uncertainty
And I want you to believe that he’s there right now
Wherever you are, be at peace knowing that God is omnipresent
Be at peace knowing that Jesus Christ, the only one who has resurrection power
He watches over our lives as believers
And so as we pray, invite God’s presence to come in
May he anoint your head.
May he calm your troubled heart
May his favor be around you
May the precious blood of the lamb protect you
And may the holy spirit be your comfort
Now let us pray
Dear heavenly father
I confess you, lord Jesus, to be King
I believe that you died and rose again for me
So that my sins may be forgiven
And although I did not deserve such love, I am grateful
I am thankful
I believe your word which says if I go up to the heavens, you’re there
If I make my bed in the depts, you are there
And so I asked you to be with me Lord
Your word in Psalm 55 vs 16 to 17 says,
As for me, I’ll call upon God
And the Lord shall save me evening and morning and at noon
I will pray and cry aloud and he shall hear my voice
Oh lord regardless of the time of day
Regardless of the hour, I thank you for being a God who’s always available
In the evening, in the morning and at noon, I can call on your name and you’ll answer me
You’ll protect me at night as I end my day
You’ll protect me in the morning as I start my day
You’ll protect me at noon during my day
I thank you for the assurance that’s in your word
Your word assures me that when I call on you
You will save me, you will hear my voice
And so I say Jesus, you are worthy to be praised
You are worthy to be honored
Be with me today, be with me tonight
Be with me every day
I am so grateful that you are not a million miles away
You’re never too far, but right here with me each and every day.
Continue to walk with me
Continue to talk to me and minister to me
Guide my every step
I rest in you and I know that you are my God
Father, I pray for a godly peace to rest upon me I pray that it covers my mind and my heart
May it never leave me
And since I do not know what tomorrow holds
I speak and I believe that my future is filled with the peace of God
I have peace in the middle of storms
I have peace when things appear to be chaotic and confused
I pray that your peace confronts me in times of trial
And I pray that it sustains me and protects me from being weary and worried
Holy Spirit please make God’s presence known to me
My prayer is in psalm 16 vs 1 which says, keep me safe my God
For in you I take refuge and I do take refuge in you
I take refuge in your word
Because you overthrow the powers of wickedness
You destroy the darkness with your light
You are he who sees and hears everything
And so I trust you to keep me, safe Lord
Keep me safe from the schemes of the enemy
Psalm 27 vs 1 tells me that the lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear
The lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid
And I declare that to be true in my life
I will fear nothing
I will not fear the devil
I will not fear the darkness of this world because my God is my defender
My God is my deliverer
My God is my protector
He is the stronghold of my life
The anchor to my soul
And all the praise and honor be unto you king Jesus
There’s no other form of protection but you lord
I read your word lord and psalm vs 1 to 2 says, Whoever dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty
I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress
My God in whom I trust
Holy spirit help me to always dwell in the shelter of the most high
Help me holy spirit to rest in the shadow of the Almighty
May I be familiar with God’s presence always
May it be with me, around me and in me at all times
For in the day of trouble, he will keep me safe in his dwelling
He will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock, far from wickedness and evil
Set me and my family, my loved ones, high on the rock that is Jesus Christ
May that be my home. May that be my dwelling place
My place of safety
And father your word promises me in psalm 4 vs 8
In peace I will lie down and sleep
For you alone lord make me dwell in safety.
Father I thank you for this promise.
I thank you and I declare that I will lie down and sleep peacefully because I know that I am safe in your arms
I know that I am a child of God
I rebuke any bad dreams or any nightmares in Jesus name
Lord psalm 46 vs 1 says, God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble
Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea
I rejoice and celebrate that though the earth give way
And the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, I have no reason to fear
I have confidence not to be worried
I have a reason not to be afraid and that reason is you lord Jesus Christ my personal savior
I thank you for your word which says in psalm 91 vs 4 that he will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart
And so I pray, cover me always lord
Take me under your wing and may your faithfulness be my shield
Father I thank you for hearing this Prayer
I bless your precious name and uplift you oh lord
I thank you for your word and these promises that are found in the book of psalms
I pray that they’re true in my life lord Jesus
May all the glory and honor be unto you in Jesus name we pray. Amen
